The Spanish schooner CARMEN was built in 1850. With a bearing of 250 tons he devoted his career to commercial transportation for the Mediterranean entering into competition with large steamships. Kit is of traditional plank-on-bulkhead construction. Features laser-cut ribs pre-cut parts of wood turned brass and cast metal for details.
