The ergonomic s-shape design of our backrest follows the arch of your lower back helping you sit in a much more natural position than the sharp right angle provided by the standard sauna wall or the rounded position of a barrel sauna wall. In infrared saunas our backrests are used to separate your back from the heat of infrared panels. No matter your sauna of choice our backrest will help take pressure off of your lower back with the curve of the accessory. ABOUT MULTI-PURPOSE: Given the vast array of sauna types and the variety of different companies that distribute saunas we created one backrest to fit them all. ABOUT RED CEDAR WOOD: The traditional choice of wood used to build saunas red cedar wood is colorful with its various hues stable yet soft and most importantly resists warping under heat and humidity changes prevalent in saunas. Red cedar wood also has a low density making it quick to heat and quick to cool providing a more comfortable and portable material to sit against.
