Three young doctors were dispatched to remote villages in Pantanal to vaccinate local residents against the new Zika variant. The medical assistance brought by the doctors was denied and they found themselves trapped in a community shrouded in secrecy and seclusion. The community revered a mystical leader who forced the local population to accept that faith trumped science. As Jesus’ ministry grew more people wanted to hear and be healed. All by encountering Jesus were forever changed.
